The Eco-Schools Show is the single largest sustainable schools event in England, attracting almost 3000 attendees.
The Show is unique in that it is focussed at a younger audience - primary and secondary school pupils.
The 2012 Eco-Schools Show arrives in Sheffield and features a packed programme of wonderful school performances, exciting activities and an inspiring exhibition area. The show brings schools together to celebrate the fantastic work being undertaken across England so why not reward your school's Eco-Committee and bring them along for a fun and educational day out?
An outline of the day includes:
- Workshops for both pupils and teachers providing practical advice for schools looking to attain and keep the Eco-Schools Green Flag
- The Activity Zone where pupils can have a go at a variety of eco activities
- Ask the Experts Area where Eco-Committees can put questions to an expert on a topic of their choice
- An exciting new outside area with sporty and healthy living styled challenges and activities
- A main stage area featuring a plethora of inspiring, entertaining and informative performances and presentations
- A wide range of exhibitors displaying relevant and exciting information or products for
Eco-Schools - Inspiring special guests and special announcements
- Indoor picnic areas. Bring a lunch box - and leave the packaging at home
- Cafe area for drinks and snacks
Please note that teachers are responsible for the children they bring to the Show and children should not be left unsupervised at any time.

To give young people an opportunity to be part of the excitement of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Wastebuster will be organising an Olympic parade through the Eco-Schools show this year, led by Team GB basketball player Jamell Anderson, world football freestyle world record holder Dan Magness and Wastebuster's very own Samba Band!
Visitors to the Show will be able to head to the activity zone to make their own recycled Olympic torches for the parade from waste materials and then join in the march to celebrate going green and getting sporty for London 2012 with Wastebuster and Eco-Schools!
